POSTGRADUATE ADMISSION 2026

Cotton University, one of Northeast India’s premier institutions of higher education, invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to its Postgraduate Programmes for the academic session 2026. The University offers quality postgraduate education through a learner-centric academic environment, distinguished faculty, modern infrastructure, and a rich legacy of academic excellence.

Admissions are open to seven postgraduate programmes: MA in Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology; MSc in Environmental Biology and Wildlife Sciences; Master of Computer Application (MCA); MSc in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MBBT); Master of Commerce (MCom); Master of Library and Information Science (MLISc); and Master of Laws (LLM). These programmes are designed to provide advanced disciplinary knowledge, research exposure, and professional competencies, preparing students for higher studies, research, public service, and diverse career opportunities.

Candidates holding a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university, including those appearing in the qualifying examination in 2026, are eligible to apply subject to programme-specific requirements. Admission to the respective programmes shall be based on the Cotton Post-Graduate Entrance Examination (CPGEE-2026) and other criteria as notified by the University from time to time.
